The process of an infrared inspection involves our trained technicians using a handheld or mounted infrared camera to scan targeted areas of a property. The inspection typically begins with a visual walkthrough to identify potential trouble spots, followed by imaging of walls, ceilings, roofs, electrical panels, and mechanical systems. Hot spots might indicate overloaded circuits or loose connections, while cold spots could reveal missing insulation or air leaks. Our technicians interpret the thermal images in real-time. After the scan, a detailed report is provided, featuring thermal images alongside explanations of findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
